A moisture mask for “under” the skin.
Your skin’s texture changes with age. Even though the velocity of skin aging progresses quite individually, everyone’s skin becomes thinner and less elastic. By enriching the deeper layers of the skin with hyaluronic acid-based gel the loss of volume can be addressed. Moisturizing hyaluronic acid can “rejuvenate” the skin if injected over an area several times just millimeters from one another. The gel can then replace the skin’s naturally lost hyaluronic acid caused by aging by storing water and volumizing the skin, making it fuller and giving it more elasticity. Several treatments also stimulates the production of new collagen fibers (Wiki) even prolonging the effect of long lasting skin rejuvenation.
The affected area will be disinfected and anesthetized. The anesthesia is usually done locally with an ointment making the waiting process very important. Then in a grid formation the same small amounts of hyaluronic acid is injected into the medial dermal layer. We have a mechanical injection mechanism for this purpose.
The natural aging process of the skin becomes evident by a loss of elasticity, sagging skin and creases. These appear for various reasons, whereas inner as well as outer influences have different affects.
Creasing wrinkles appear on regions where delicate, thin, especially fine and sensitive skin is. These regions are usually in very visible areas such as the cleavage, the back of your hands and the face. Being that these areas and especially the face can reveal one’s age, this is sometimes considered esthetically unattractive.
The causes for the formation of creasing wrinkles are for example, exposure to sunlight, lack of moisture in the skin and the loss of sub fat tissue that accompanies the natural aging process. These very different influences change the skin’s texture. On the face, cleavage and especially on the back of the hands the skin loses its smoothing elasticity and tautness, the tissue gets weaker and small wrinkles appear. Here at Faceshop our doctors can combat these changes with hyaluronic acid-based gel treatments replenishing the skin with more elasticity and volume. This minimum invasive procedure is used in modern esthetic medicine to reduce wrinkles, smooth out creases and rejuvenate the skin over a longer period of time.
